Objectives and Probes

A component's checklist and its how-to-check notes — and where they surface.

Objectives: a component's test list

Objectives live in a component's Checklists tab. They are the concrete things worth checking whenever this component shows up on a target — for a file upload, "Test for unrestricted file type acceptance".

Adding one: open the component → Checklists → Add Objective. The modal takes an Objective title and an optional Description (supports lists, inline code, and headings for context, links, or examples). For bulk entry, switch to Paste multiple — one objective per line, each non-empty line becomes an objective. Objectives can be drag-reordered; the order is shared.

For stateful quirks, each objective also carries a State: Present or Absent — and the panel filters by the same values, so a quirk's test list stays coherent with how the quirk actually behaves.
